Richard Barone was born and raised in the Northeast and attended both college and law school in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University with a concentration in law and legal studies. Richard later attended Suffolk University Law School and received his Juris Doctorate
in 2000.
Richard maintained honors throughout his college career and was a member of the National Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha. While in law school, Richard received first place in an international law competition, earning him an invitation to attend Harvard University’s 1998 commencement honoring Nelson Mandela.
Mr. Barone previously worked in Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C. before relocating to Miami in 2005. Transitioning from in-house roles with the D.C. government and Miami Beach-based corporations, Richard joined our firm in 2011. Over the years, Richard has worked closely with lead trial counsel, associates, and clients preparing for trial and throughout all phases of the litigation process.
